Our initiatives Sustainable development

Eneria is committed to a sustainable development approach vis-à-vis both customers and employees. We take concrete actions to prevent risks and protect the environment.

Compliance with infrastructure regulations:

Our head office in Montlhéry hosts two facilities that comply with environmental protection regulations. Our test cell is authorised and all workshops report to the relevant authorities. The following operations are subject to these regulations:

  • Hydrocarbon separator on the storm drainage system
  • Regulated noise levels
  • Storage tanks or double-walled containers for hydrocarbon storage.

Commitment to protecting the environment and individual health and safety

  • Raising employees and partners’ awareness of health and safety issues
  • Solving pollution and environmental protection problems.
  • Ensuring that products and facilities comply with regulatory requirements and legislation
  • Cooperating with government agencies involved in environmental protection.
  • Promoting environmental awareness and training initiatives for our employees and partners.
  • Providing our employees, customers and shareholders with any information on the environmental impact of our activities, products and services.
  • Continually improving environmental practices in our organisation.

Waste management

To maximise our environmental programme and meet increasingly demanding regulatory requirements, a framework agreement on hazardous waste management was signed in 2012.

  • Each of our entities maintains records for waste disposal through removal and disposal by a company with the required official permits.
  • Hazardous waste, metals and paper are separated.
  • At any time, we can provide tracking slips for waste from all of our facilities under maintenance agreements.

To take part in the trend of reducing environmental impact, we have begun the ISO 14 001 certification process, which is based on the principle of continually improving environmental performance by managing impacts associated with the company’s activity.
